Financial Accountant

An entrepreneurial family business, this is a diverse group with a wide geographical coverage. Their business mix is across the property, agricultural and mining sectors. With international interests, this group continues to explore and integrate new technologies and practices across all their operations.

Reporting to the CFO, this role is a genuine hybrid of a broad range of accounting and finance tasks. The accounting component of this role will include all recording, processing, monitoring and reporting for month end, assisting with half year and year end preparation and preparing audit files. In addition to accounting tasks and in line with the broader interests of the family, you will also be trained on basic share trading and futures positioning to assist with the family investments.

Degree qualified, you thrive on a busy, demanding environment and have the capacity to think for yourself and understand the business as a whole.
