We have an exciting opportunity within Michael Hill for a motivated, hands-on Regional Manager to join our Retail Network.

As a multi site manager you will be responsible for over seeing the operation of the stores and its people. You will visit stores on a daily basis where you will drive, motivate, inspire and ultimately have an impact in the business. Reporting to the Retail General Manager of Australia, the focus of this role will be on growing sales and profit and the development of people. Effective influencing skills will build strong relationships with your teams where you will lead continuous improvement of operational standards across your region of stores.

To be successful in this role you should possess:

• A strong history of senior retail leadership including the management of sales and operations leading a regional/area team within a fast paced results driven culture - Essential
  
• Strong leadership skills - the ability to continually inspire and motivate a large team - Walk the talk, live the dream!
  
• The ability to build high performing teams creating a culture of respect and excellence
  
• Full business acumen including loss prevention and P&L management
  
• The ability to travel within your business and maintain a high level of presence within your stores
  
• Proven track record of managing the sales and operations of a geographically spread team within a KPI and budget measured environment
  
• Ability to inspire success and ensure their region of stores are maximising sales and performance standards
  
• A track record of creating excellent succession planning initiatives and keeping morale high
  
• Ability to drive a performance orientated culture that is truly exciting and rewarding
