Merchandise Support Analyst

Convenience retailer, Caltex Star Mart, has claimed some of the industry's top awards at the recent Australasian Association of Convenience Stores awards. We have exciting new opportunity and a chance to become part of a highly visible team and provide essential analytical and administrative support to the National Merchandise Manager. Your role will be to provide insight in all aspects of category management, promotional programs and Non-Fuel income.

You will be involved in project work to help improve efficiencies across the Merchandise team and will be integral in providing input as to how the business unit can achieve greater cost efficiencies through your analytical skills.  

With a high degree of numerical skills and strong business acumen, you will need to be focused and purposeful in your approach to work. Attention to detail will be one of your strengths as well as possessing excellent communication skills.

You will have at least 12 months experience in a similar role with a high volume, disciplined FMCG business or retail environment. Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Business as well as an understanding of financial and accounting principles will see you succeed in the role.
