Building Surveyor
My client is a market leading provider of property and development services to the Australasian and SE Asian property markets.
They are looking for Building Surveyor working in Property Transaction and Asset Advisory Services. You will be based out of Sydney CBD Office.
Working on a blue chip client base which in turn offers varied project work and opportunity for travel you will:
- Conduct building inspections and condition assessments.
- Co-ordinate and manage inspection teams.
- Form commercially relevant recommendations and cost estimates.
- Be based in and travel regularly to fit with our national team approach to consulting commissions and to meet client deadlines.
- Able to understand clients needs and enable them to achieve the desired results.
- Attend meetings with other construction professionals.
As well as being a qualified Building Surveyor you will also have:
- Relevant experience in property and construction consulting.
- Be professionally qualified as an RICS Chartered Building Surveyor (or similar) with 3 years PQE.
- A background primarily in commercial properties and projects.
- A knowledge of and accreditation in either NABERS or Green Star desirable but not essential.
- Excellent report writing skills which will complement your proven technical building knowledge.
- An ability to understand client objectives and to align your approach with theirs.
- Enjoy working within a team environment.
