We are a global player in the Scientific field and we are currently on the lookout for a Senior Account Manager to manage a number of high profile, big dollar accounts.  We are a global market leader with a firm emphasis on quality, innovative products and equipm ent into the Life Science sector.

You will be delving into existing accounts, with the view towards increasing their current spend.  You will be searching for opportunities within these accounts and will need to know everything there is to know about them in order to fully saturate their business.  Dealing at all levels of their business, it will be your business to know their business.  Whilst you will be given existing accounts, you will not be sitting on your laurels!  We have high expectations for this role and you will need to have above average sales skills in order to succeed.

You need to have a minimum of 2+ years in a senior or key account management role in order to fill this position.  Ideally you have a science or medically-related degree and an understanding of how the medical/pharmaceutical/laboratory or pathology sectors work. You will need to be able to demonstrate previous wins with large accounts and the process you took to get there.  This is a relationship-based sell and you must have extremely good communication skills, as you will be dealing at the very highest levels of these businesses.
