THE ROLE:

An Area Sales Manager position has arisen with a wholly owned distributor from within the heavy side of construction  equipment industry. This Regional Sales role will involve selling the company's premium range of heavy side compressors, power generation and temprature control and  selling to plant and mining, contract hire / rental companies, main contractors, demolition contractors, waste management companies and local authorities across a sales territory composed of the Sydney Region. This Area Sales Manager role will require that your sales, new business and account management capabilities are first class, reporting to the NSW Sales Manager, you are fully responsible for hitting all your targets for the sales area.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrable sales experience from within a related construction / heavy side plant equipment industry.
• Must have sold via mentioned routes to market.
• Autonomous sales approach.
• New business hunter.
• Key account management.
• Relationship developer.
• Strategic networker.
• Technical / practical aptitude.
• Commercial acumen.
• Up to date market knowledge.
• Outstanding communication skills across all levels.
• Career orientated.

THE PACKAGE:

Basic Salary: $80,000 basic (dependent upon experience)
Commission: Excellent anticipated 1st year OTE Uncapped!!!
